On this page, you will find a number of short videos depicting the people and activities that represent Indivisible Ferndale. Enjoy!
California 7 Project: Fight Back California
In the short video below, watch as SEVEN of the SEVEN original red congressional districts turn BLUE! As of Thursday, November 29, the race for CA-21 where Democrat TJ Cox is running against Republican incumbent, David Valadao, has not been decided. Cox is now leading by over 500 votes! Stay Tuned!
Everyone has a story to share
Watch the video below as Jeremy Ornstein, 18, takes part in a protest outside Nancy Pelosi’s D.C. office the week of November 12, 2018. Jeremy, a young climate activist, shares his family’s Holocaust story. Read his story here.
Eureka Women’s March on January 21, 2017
Before Indivisible Ferndale was formed, many of us took the streets to let the incoming Republican regime know that we would not stand idly by and see our country regress. I created a short film of photos from the march collected from my iPhone camera roll and the Lost Coast Outpost.
I selected the song “For All Humankind” by Eliza Gilkyson (recorded from her Facebook page) because it was performed by Nina Gerber for the Eureka protesters. Everyone sang along. The melody is “Auld Lang Syne.”
Indivisible Ferndale’s one year anniversary
At the beginning of 2018, I created this second video as a reminder of what Indivisible Ferndale had accomplished in one short year culminating with the election of two new trustees to the College of the Redwoods Board of Trustees: Bonnie Deister (Area 1) and Danny Kelley (Area 2). In October, 2018, I shared this video with the Democrat of the Year crowd to say “This is who we are!” The song is “The Revolution Starts Now!” by Steve Earle. View the lyrics here.
Indivisible Ferndale’s Post Election Party Video
On November 11, 2018, I debuted a third video which encapsulated the work that we accomplished just prior to Election Day, 2018. This video is a work in progress. The song is “Marching On!” by Phoebe Hunt and the Gatherers. View the lyrics here.
More to come because We Keep Marching On!
