February is here and it’s time for IF committee and local government meetings

It was great to see everyone last Sunday afternoon during our Indivisible Ferndale general meeting.    Even though some members were out of town, over 50 folks attended and we literally ran out of room.

Along with a recap of our 2018 accomplishments (see a short film here), we introduced our 2019 Goals and Objectives.   Read our goals and objectives statement here.

I passed two clipboards around.   One clipboard was for committee signups (eleven of you signed up) and the other was for local government meeting attendance (nine of you signed up).

If the clipboard didn’t find its way to you last Sunday, please don’t despair!   I am posting committee and local government meetings on our Calendar and Actions pages.  In addition, a sign up form is available on the Volunteer page along with brief descriptions of each committee’s goals and contact information.

So here’s your chance to show your commitment to Indivisible Ferndale and your community.

    Hi John,
I spoke briefly with one of the new School Board members last night after choir.
Danella Barnes Penman ( not sure of that surname spelling) would like the public
to attend the meeting on the 13th. The race issue will be discussed and she wants
    support with that issue.
