Give Thanks, Indivisible Ferndale!

Indivisible Ferndale has a lot for which to be thankful!

We just won our first election campaign!   Please welcome our new College of the Redwoods Board of Trustees, Bonnie Deister for Area 1 and Danny Kelley for Area 2!

View the final cumulative election results here.

View the precinct by precinct detail election results here.

Both campaigns give thanks to the membership of Indivisible Ferndale for your involvement in the election process by donating money, making phone calls, walking precincts, writing letters to the editor, consulting with the campaign committees, endorsing our candidates and finally, voting for our candidates.

From our new friends in Cloverdale Indivisible

Virigina Greenwald and Vicky Groom from Cloverdale Indivisible

From our newest friends, Virginia Greenwald and Vicky Groom of Cloverdale Indivisible, a Happy Thanksgiving message to their membership.

Barb and I had a wonderful chat with Virginia and Vicky at our home in Cloverdale about “all things Indivisible.”  Virginia and Vicky are now following the Indivisible Ferndale blog and I’m on the Cloverdale Indivisible mailing list.  We plan to stay in touch and look for opportunities to work together.   As an example, Cloverdale Indivisible is joining the Rapid Response Network in Sonoma County.

Run, Serve, Lead

Carrie Peyton-Dahlberg of the North Coast People’s Alliance, attended our celebration and shared information about an upcoming NCPA seminar entitled “Run, Serve, Lead.”   By attending the seminar, you can learn more about running for office, applying to serve on a board or commission or just providing support to a local campaign.   This seminar will be held in late January in Fortuna.  More specifics will be provided in early January.   Indivisible Ferndale will be a co-sponsor of this event.

There will be no Indivisible Ferndale group or committee meetings in December, so . . .

Have wonderful holidays over the next month and be ready to celebrate Indivisible Ferndale’s One Year Anniversary in January at Mary Ann and Pete’s home! (more details to follow)

Together, We are Indivisible!

Dear John,  We in I-Fortuna are taking a vote on helping “Run, Serve, Lead”. I am sure it will pass!   Looking at our calendar, we think Saturday, February 3rd, 10AM at Fortuna City Hall would be the best date for your PEP talk to our group. There may be a March on Jan 20th to mark one year of Trump, so we need that date open.    Let me know about Feb.3rd so we can advertise to the group.   Thank you for all the time and energy you put into the cause!!  Chris Will
