It’s Time to Save the Day!

There are two hot topics that need your attention today, Monday, July 17 and tomorrow, Tuesday, July 18!

First, today is the last day that the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) is accepting comments regarding the repeal of Net Neutrality.

Net neutrality allows all users to have equal access to everything available on the internet, and prevents Internet Service Providers (ISPs) from essentially turning the internet into cable television — creating fast and slow speeds for sites of their choosing and charging consumers premium prices for upgraded access. Without net neutrality, small businesses, low-income individuals, and much of rural America would lose access to affordable, reasonably fast internet service.

ACTION:  Call Rep. Huffman and Senators Feinstein and Harris today and tell them that you want fair and equal access to the internet!   Here are their phone numbers and a script.

#KillTheBill: National Day of Action

Next, the Indivisible Project is sponsoring it’s first National Indivisible Day of Action this Tuesday, July 18th.  They are encouraging Indivisible groups across the country to visit their Senator’s offices and provide stories and photos of how people will be affected by TrumpCare.

Read the message from Indivisible here.

Our Senators, Feinstein and Harris, do not need to be reminded of how devastating this bill could be to the people of California and our nation.  They are both working hard to defeat this bill, but there are five Republican senators who we can encourage to continue doing the right thing.   These five senators are bucking the trend and saying “NO” to Trumpcare!

ACTION:  Call these five Republican senators tomorrow and thank them for saying “NO” to Trumpcare!   Here are their phone numbers and a script.

Together, We are Indivisible!
